Prescription refills for patients without Israeli health insurance



If you’re a tourist or a patient without Israeli health insurance and you need a prescription refill in Israel , you can follow these general guidelines:


1. Visit a local pharmacy: Start by visiting a pharmacy in Israel. Pharmacists can provide information on the availability of the medication and guide you on the process, sometimes you will be able to purchase specific medication without a prescription.


2. Consult with our doctor at Tel Aviv Center Clinic:

If you’re medication cannot be purchased without a prescription, please contact our clinic via WhatsApp, and attach a screenshot of your original prescription or alternatively send the name of the medication and dosage that you’re prescribed.


The doctor can evaluate your condition and provide a new prescription or confirm the refill. In some cases the doctor will recommend an equivalent medication that is in stock in Israel.


3. You may have to pay for this consultation out of pocket.

The clinic representative will explain the process on phone chat.


5. With the prescription that the doctor will provide you will be able to purchase the medication at the pharmacy.
